Rah
is me, Rich Halvorsen. Many of my friends began giving me the name
and calling me Dodge as well. I adopted the nickname Rah in 1995,
online, and I've been using it in chat rooms, discussion boards, web
pages and such ever since. Way back, in those days, someone mistook
RAH to be RAW. Oddly enough, RAH PWR on my license plate can be
credited back to then. On my Stealth I decided to get custom plates
that read RAH PWR when 2FAST4U wasn't available. Hopefully you get
the double meaning (RAH PWR like Rah's Power, and RAH PWR like RAW
POWER!) The picture to the left is me and my dog, Dakota (making
the dog the fourth Dodge in the family).
More
about me: I work in Information Technologies (see resume for more),
a couple of the companies include
Digital Cyclone, Inc. I
joined them near the beginning and played a big role as the company
grew. Some of my main projects included setting up and installing
all the computer systems that come in for employees and to power
Digital Cyclone's main product,
My-Cast. I also was responsible for wiring and setting up much
of the network. I also worked at Digi
International in a Help Desk role. In addition to that, I've
been on a Volunteer
Fire & Rescue
Department with the city of
Medicine Lake
since 2001.
I'm
obsessed with cars, sure they tell me I'm good with computers, but
my real passion is more automotive. Although if there is a brand
loyalty in the family, it is Pontiac, I swear by the Chrysler
Group. Particularly Dodge. My first car was a Pontiac Sunfire, and
I still have my ties to Pontiac, but since then it's been nothing
but Dodge (except for the 84 Fiero that sits dead in the
driveway). See
My Autos for
more information.
 About
this site: In my time online, I've hosted and created
many-a-website.
Datadudes.com was my first major one
(which has since fallen to pieces), from within that came a section
dedicated to MacQuariums, a directory of students at my school's
e-mail and other online contacts, Button Madness, The UnOfficial
Sunfire Club and Twin City SPS. I've been collecting license plates
for years, there's a wall in my place dedicated soley to them, the
plates in the background are not those. I was inspired to make this
site, the layout, and look, late one night at Perkins.
